Perro means dog in Spanish
Director Marie Strömberg in Short film 10+ min (Nordic countries) Sweden NSF9381 “Perro means dog in Spanish” is a film about loneliness, exclusion and hope. A sad feel-good film.
It’s based on a true story and portrays the unexpected encounters and new opportunities that can arise in times of crisis. Involuntarily living in solitude is an issue that has been highlighted during the Corona pandemic. What happens if you do not have access to a social safety net with friends and colleagues? Do we dare to reevaluate our prejudices in times of crisis and form friendships with people we would otherwise never meet? |

The participants are initially skeptical of the format, but are drawn more and more into absurd exercises with a limitless approach to each other. An unhealthy group dynamic arises and one participant becomes increasingly skeptical. However, he is convinced to stay and is exposed to a kind of loving abuse that has an unexpected outcome.

The Glitter Factory
Director Alexander Rynéus in Documentary 10+ min (Nordic countries) Sweden NSF9267 Swedens only glitter factory is located in Dalarna close to my home village. Between the years 1950–1970 it produced Christmas tree tinsel during the winters. After the factory closed, the house was also the home of my grandfather and grandmother until they passed away. In the midst of the prevailing Covid pandemic I spent a lot of time in the house. Me and my parents went through different objects from different times still occupying the house and The Glitter Factory turned into an archaeological excavation with confused archaeologists. The film camera was with me in the house and suddenly years had passed.
