Nordic Star Festival 2026
Welcome to Nordic Star Festival 2026.
During the festival, audiences will experience films from Sweden, the Nordic countries and around the world across several locations in the Mälardalen region, culminating in Stockholm.
The program includes short film blocks, feature films, filmmaker conversations, a screenwriting workshop and the festival’s grand finale.

Program Information
• Films are presented in different screening blocks, with breaks between the blocks.
• Short film blocks are planned to run for approximately one hour.
• In Arboga, Kungsör and Köping, there is approximately a 30-minute break between film blocks.
• In Stockholm, there is a 15-minute break between film blocks.
• Feature films are shown in full and screened only once during the festival, as the final film of the evening.
